Cookie Policy
This policy explains how the Indicode website, operated by Orqent Labs, uses cookies and similar technologies, what each category does, and how you can control them. We keep cookies to the minimum needed to run the site and your account — the Indicode MCP itself runs in your editor and does not rely on browser cookies.
What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device by your browser. Similar technologies include local storage and session storage. They let a site remember things between requests — for example that you are signed in, or which visual theme you chose. Some are essential; others are optional and only set with your consent where the law requires it.
Categories we use
- Strictly necessary: authentication and session cookies that keep you signed in and protect against cross-site request forgery. These cannot be switched off because the site cannot function securely without them.
- Preferences: a small amount of local storage records your selected AURORA theme so the site does not flash the default palette on load. This stays on your device and is not shared.
- Analytics (optional): if enabled, privacy-respecting, aggregated analytics help us understand which pages are useful. These are only set with your consent and never used to identify you personally.
What we do not do
We do not use cookies for cross-site advertising, and we do not sell cookie-derived data. Consistent with how Indicode works overall, the website does not place cookies that capture your prompts, your code, or your editor activity — those never reach the website at all.
Managing cookies
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, and you can clear local storage to reset your theme preference. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break sign-in and other secured features. Where a consent banner is shown, you can change or withdraw your choice for optional categories at any time.
Regional notes
For visitors in the EU/EEA/UK, optional cookies are set only after consent under the GDPR and ePrivacy rules. For California residents, our use of cookies does not constitute a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information under the CCPA. For India, cookie use is covered by our consent-based processing under the DPDP Act.
