Grievance Redressal

Orqent Labs wants every concern about Indicode — whether about your data, your subscription, or our content — to be heard and resolved fairly. This page explains how to raise a grievance and names the officer responsible for handling it, in line with India's DPDP Act and Information Technology Rules, and consistent with our obligations to users in other regions.

What counts as a grievance

  • Requests or complaints about how your personal data is collected, used, or retained.
  • Requests to access, correct, or delete your data, or to withdraw consent.
  • Billing, refund, or sealed-license disputes.
  • Concerns about content, conduct, or any other aspect of the Service.

Grievance Officer

Grievance Officer — Orqent Labs
Email: grievance@orqentlabs.com
For data-protection matters you may also reach our Data Protection Officer at dpo@orqentlabs.com.

Please include your account email, a clear description of the issue, and any reference numbers (for example a charge ID) so we can verify your identity and investigate quickly.

How we handle your grievance

  • Acknowledgement within 48 hours of receiving your grievance.
  • Resolution within 30 days, or sooner where the law requires a shorter period; if more time is genuinely needed, we will explain why and give you an expected date.
  • Updates at each meaningful step, so you are never left wondering where things stand.

India — DPDP escalation

If you are in India and are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to the Data Protection Board of India as provided under the DPDP Act, 2023. We will cooperate with any inquiry and provide the records reasonably required.

United States — California

California residents who are dissatisfied with how a privacy request was handled may contact the California Privacy Protection Agency or the California Attorney General after exhausting our process.

EU / EEA / UK — supervisory authorities

Users in the EU, EEA, or UK have the right to lodge a complaint with their local supervisory authority (for example a national Data Protection Authority, or the ICO in the UK) if they believe our processing infringes the GDPR. We would, of course, prefer the chance to put things right first.

Our commitment

We treat grievances as signals that help us improve. Raising one will never affect your access to the Service or trigger any form of retaliation. Our goal is a fair, timely, and transparent resolution every time.
