Refund & Cancellation
This policy explains how billing, cancellation, and refunds work for Indicode by Orqent Labs. Indicode is a low-cost monthly subscription — $5 per month (or local-currency equivalent) — with a sealed one-machine license. We aim to be fair and predictable, with no lock-in.
How billing works
Your subscription is billed in advance for each monthly period. When you subscribe, your license is sealed to a single machine and activated immediately so you can audit repositories and install guardrails right away. Renewals occur automatically at the start of each new period until you cancel.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from your account dashboard or by emailing us.
- Cancellation stops the next renewal; you keep access until the end of the current paid period.
- After the period ends, the sealed license is deactivated and the subscription will not renew.
Refund eligibility
Because Indicode delivers value immediately on activation, we handle refunds as follows:
- First-time subscribers may request a full refund within 7 days of the initial charge if Indicode did not work for your setup and you contacted support to try to resolve it.
- Renewals are generally non-refundable, but if you were charged for a renewal you did not intend and contact us promptly (within 7 days), we will review and, in good faith, typically refund an unused renewal.
- Service failure attributable to us — for example a prolonged outage that prevented use — is eligible for a pro-rated refund or credit.
What is not refundable
Refunds are not available where a license was suspended for breach of our Terms (for example license sharing or attempts to bypass the device binding), or for periods that were already fully used before a cancellation request.
How to request a refund
Email billing@orqentlabs.com from your account email with your subscription details and the reason for the request. We respond within 3 business days and process approved refunds to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days depending on your provider.
Statutory rights
Nothing in this policy limits any non-waivable refund or cancellation rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your country, including in India, the United States, and the EU/UK.
